Earlier this month, a car accident in Lauderhill, Florida killed a 51-year-old woman and injured the woman’s husband and grown-up daughter. The auto accident occurred when the husband swerved their 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis to avoid stalled traffic, according to police. The car crossed five lanes of traffic, veered off the road, and hit a concrete wall.
The 57-year-old husband and 29-year-old daughter were transported to Broward General Medical Center and were expected to survive their injuries. The Grand Marquis was traveling westbound at the time of the fatal car crash.
None of the car accident victims were wearing seat belts. Police say they are still investigating the crash and they have not filed any charges.
