On Thanksgiving night, Tiger Woods was involved in a single-car crash near his mansion in Windermere, Florida. According to police, Woods had lips on his lips and blood in his mouth when they arrived at the scene of the crash.
However, while initial media reports that the tennis superstar was “seriously injured” turned out to be overblown, Woods’ reputation has certainly suffered as a result of the auto accident. Woods’ and his attorney have remained tight-lipped about the crash, leading some to speculate about a possible scandal surrounding it.
Woods did not charged in connection with the motor vehicle crash, but the Florida Highway Patrol issued Woods a $164 citation for careless driving. They do not believe that alcohol or drugs were a factor.
